On 15th October 2019, the Passive House Institute (PHI) officially awarded the certificate to Hexinyuan No. 4 and No. 5 Building in Sino-singapore Eco-city as the first built residential high-rise Passive House in the world in the closing plenary of the 2019 International Passive House Conference in Gaobeidian, China.
The Tianjin Residential High-Rise Passive House project has been executed in a period of more than four years where the owner, LDI, and energy consultants (Soft-grid (Shanghai) for the architectural design and energydesign (Shanghai) for HVAC and MEP design) have contributed towards the success of implementing the advanced German Passive House technology in China locally.
The project has set a significant role for the development of Passive House in China and it shows for sure the practice how to design and construct passive high – rise residential building in China. Meanwhile, the successful implementation provides a best practice for the future building developments in this region to replicate and expand.
energydesign is proud to work as part of the energy consultant team, applying our expertise in HVAC and MEP design to help the owner achieve their strict certification goals. This project also becomes another milestone reference project of energydesign (Shanghai).
在2019年10月15日结束的中国高碑店第23届国际被动房大会闭幕式上，中新生态城公屋二期被动房项目（即和馨园小区4、5号楼）荣获德国被动房研究所PHI认证，成为该机构在世界范围内认证的首个已竣工的高层被动房住宅项目。
该项目是在业主、设计院和能源顾问（建筑设计-索杰建筑设计咨询（上海）有限公司，暖通设计-设能建筑咨询（上海）有限公司）的共同努力下，历时四年多，最终成功落地的先进德国被动房技术应用。
这个项目对于被动房在中国的推广具有指导意义，它证明了在中国高层住宅市场按照德国被动房标准设计和认证被动房是完全可能实现的；同时，它的成功经验也将作为最佳实践指导，供该地区其他项目复制和借鉴。
